If you love motorbikes, the name of Mandello del Lario will make you shudder: it’s the home of the
legendary Moto Guzzi, and you shouldn’t miss a visit to the great Historical Museum. Motorcyclists
from all over the world go there on pilgrimage. The Moto Guzzi Museum is located in the heart of
the historic factory that has seen the birth of the Eagle myth in 1921. In the museum unique pieces are displayed, such as the first motorcycle built by Carlo Guzzi in 1919: the only GP (Guzzi-Parodi) signed piece, along with motorcycles among the most celebrated in the world such as the extraordinary Eight-Cylinders 500 from 1957 created by the genius of Giulio Cesare Carcano.
